It’s easy to get lost down the YouTube rabbit hole, so we’ve done some YouTube reviews of two of our fave channels to keep you entertained and informed.
Dude Perfect
If you’re after some mindless entertainment, quirky competitions and some amazing trick shots, Dude Perfect is your answer. The group is well known for their trick shot videos – utilising everything from ping pong to Frisbees, bowling and more. But the real fun to be had is in watching their ‘battles’ – cazy challenges often of epic proportions (see ‘Helicopter Battleship Battle’). Worth the watch for some light-hearted fun, and who knows, you might be inspired to try some trick shots at home.
Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell
Do you have a child who is constantly asking questions about the universe? Have you been pondering plastic pollution, is reality real, or why alien life would be our doom? In a Nutshell provides animated educational content discussing a wide array of subjects at a runtime of around 10 minutes. The distinctive animated style is bright and colourful to hold your attention while concepts are explained simply and in a well-thought out style. Playlists include ‘The Universe and Space stuff’, ‘Human Stuff’, ‘Futurism’, and ‘Medicine and Biology’, providing plenty of choice.
