Witnesses sought after vehicle hits 10-year-old child

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage for two serious traffic incidents that occurred this week, including a collision involving a child.

The first incident occurred on Monday, 25 October at about 7.30pm when a car collided with a 10-year-old child riding a bicycle on Macfarland Burnett Avenue in Macgregor.

The child suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

A blue 2001 Ford Falcon utility left the scene before police arrived and witnesses indicated the vehicle had a large dent in the bonnet and a cracked front spoiler.

The second incident occurred about 5.30pm on Tuesday, 26 October when a three car collision occurred in the southbound lanes of the Tuggeranong Parkway at the Glenloch Interchange.

A pedestrian involved in the collision suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. A white Honda Civic was involved in the collision and police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the Honda Civic prior to the collision.
