Living Memory: The 79 National Photographic Portrait Prize finalist works are on display at the National Portrait Gallery until Sunday 7 November. While the Gallery is closed during the ACT lockdown, you can view the images online at portrait.gov.au

NFSA: While the National Film and Sound Archive is closed to the public during the ACT lockdown, you can find hundreds of hours of content from the NFSA collection online, so you can continue to explore Australia’s audiovisual history during this time.; nfsa.gov.au

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead: [Hamlet as told from the view of two minor characters, was set to be performed by Canberra Rep at Canberra REP Theatre, Acton, 12-28 August] All performances scheduled during the lockdown have been suspended, as have ticket sales. M16 Artspace: The Griffith gallery was due to host exhibitions Shoreline, Testamur 3, and Black and White Edges, 13-29 August. The gallery is closed during lockdown; m16artspace.com.au

Phoenix Collective: CANCELLED. The local string ensemble play The Priest, the Intellect, the Eccentric & the Pirate at Wesley Music Centre, Forrest, 14 August 2pm and 3.30pm; phoenixcollective.com.au

Karmic Soul Mini Psychic Fair: CANCELLED. Psychics/readers, healers, large crystals, gifts and jewellery stalls and more, 14 August 10am-5pm at the Antill Room, Ainslie Football and Social Club.

PhotoAccess: While the Manuka gallery is closed during lockdown, you can visit the online gallery at gallery.photoaccess.org.au

Handmade Market: CANCELLED. AGAIN. Showcase of local and regional artists, designers and producers under one roof at the Budawang Pavillion, EPIC, 14-15 August 10am-4pm.

Tuggeranong Arts Centre: Closed to the public during lockdown, the openings of two new exhibitions – Dark Euphoria and Uncalibrated Space – will not be held on Saturday 14 August. The exhibition was scheduled to continue until 18 and 11 September respectively; tuggeranongarts.com

Sesame Street Circus Spectacular: The extended season at the Majura Park big top ended when the ACT entered lockdown; ticketmaster.com.au

Thor’s Hammer: Open for purchase and pick-up of hardware and building supplies during lockdown but customers must call ahead on 6282 9900. The showroom, workshop and gallery is closed during the ACT lockdown. A new exhibition by renowned local graffiti muralist and conceptual sculptor, Dan Maginnity aka byrd, at Thor’s Hammer, Griffith, was scheduled for 17 August-2 October; thors.com.au

Belco Arts: Belconnen Arts Centre is closed during lockdown and all scheduled activities during this period, including Exploring the Universe of Graeme Base, have been cancelled or postponed; visit belcoarts.com.au for more.

Scattered People: This film screening that was scheduled for 18 August 6pm, a fundraiser for Operation Not Forgotten, cannot proceed at this time due to ACT lockdown rules; Eventbrite.

Wesley Music Centre: Live performances at the Forrest venue are not permitted while the ACT is in lockdown.

Grease: POSTPONED. Canberra Philharmonic Society has delayed the opening of their production that was scheduled to open at Erindale Theatre on 19 August. Further details will be provided in coming days; philo.org.au

Side by Side: RESCHEDULED. A new performance by Australia’s foremost exponent in Japanese Taiko drumming, Taikoz, at the Belconnen Arts Centre, has been rescheduled from 20-21 August to 3-4 December; belcoarts.com.au

Jurassic Creatures: DELAYED. The opening of this “realistic animatronics exhibition like no other” has been delayed from 20 August to 27 August, at 18 Spitfire Avenue, Majura Park; jurassiccreatures.com.au
