White Shirt Campaign ambassadors

Australian retailer Witchery has announced the ambassadors for their 2020 White Shirt Campaign, which raises funds and awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). This year’s ambassadors are athlete Morgan Mitchell, model Brooke Hogan, actor Miranda Tapsell, journalist Abbey Way, media personality Nadia Bartel and ovarian cancer patient Leane Flynn. Witchery will be donating 100% of gross proceeds from the sale of their white cotton shirt to ovarian cancer research; to date, the White Shirt Campaign has raised over $13.5 million for the OCRF.

The shirt is available online via witchery.com.au, with Witchery stores closed until further notice due to COVID-19.

Mothers in Pyjamas

This Mother’s Day, Mission Australia is encouraging families across the country to celebrate in their

pyjamas, to raise money for homeless families and those experiencing hardship due to COVID-19. “Mother’s Day will certainly look different for all of us this year in the age of physical distancing. But as many isolate at home, so many of us can’t truly understand what it’s like to be homeless, particularly during this pandemic,” said Mission Australia CEO James Toomey. “Our Mothers in Pyjamas fundraising experience is an opportunity for everyday families and individuals to connect in quirky and memorable ways, while also extending care and generosity to those who are vulnerable and who may not have a safe place to call home.”
