New brands in town

Canberra is officially the newest addition to the global Superdry network, opening its doors on 6 December to the fashionable retailer. Famous for its high-quality products that fuse vintage Americana and Japanese-inspired graphics, the brand offers a unique product offering to Australia’s capital city. With customers lining up from 5am to be one of the first 50 to transact to win leather jackets, backpacks and more, Superdry Canberra aims to be a significant addition to the local retail space. Canberra marks the 17th Superdry store in Australia, with the British retailer making plans to further expand the network across Australia in coming months. The opening comes off the brand’s recent sponsorship of the Invictus Games Foundation which saw both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wearing Superdry on their visit to Australia to launch the Games.

Meanwhile, Vans and Levi’s were both set to open at Canberra Centre this week with a range of launch festivities and deals on offer to celebrate their arrivals.

Vans, the original action sports company that has emerged as one of the world’s largest youth culture brands, opened on Wednesday 12 December.

On Friday 14 December, Levi’s, a brand that epitomises classic American style and effortless cool, will open one of their biggest Australian stores, at 205 sqm, allowing Canberra fans to shop a huge selection of their favourite Levi’s, from original icons such as the 501, Trucker Jacket and Western Shirt to newer styles such as the Wedgie, 511 and the innovative 700s range.
