Free healthy activities

The City Renewal Authority has announced its ReNewYou program, a trial of free healthy activities to be held weekly in the city centre. The program will see lunchtime Zumba classes held in Garema Place on Tuesdays throughout March at 12-1pm. Glebe Park will play host to a range of activities later in the year on Wednesdays, with yoga in April, circus skills throughout May and boot camp in June.

Shop handmade

Support Australian small businesses directly by shopping at the Handmade Market when it returns to EPIC on 21-22 March 10am-4pm.

Handmade Happy Hour is back on the Saturday at 9am – an opportunity to beat the crowds, relax and go in the draw to win a Happy Hour Hamper worth $300+. Tickets $5 via eventbrite.com.au

The autumn market will bring a touch of the Riverina to town, with a unique range of food and drinks in the Riverina’s very own alley in the Coorong Pavilion.

GIVIT will be collecting to support charities working across bushfire-affected communications in the Capital Region.

White Shirt Campaign

Witchery has announced its 12th 2020 White Shirt Campaign collection, in support of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). The annual campaign sees the fashion retailer donate gross proceeds of every white shirt sold to OCRF, a foundation dedicated to funding national ovarian cancer research, and has raised over $13 million for ovarian cancer research to date. Currently, there is no early detection test for ovarian cancer, and OCRF says only 20-25% of women diagnosed will survive beyond five years.

From 15 April, the White Shirt Campaign collection will be available in store and online via witchery.com.au
