Two new COVID-19 cases in Southern NSW, both in Murrumbateman

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded two new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night, both in Murrumbateman.

Both cases have been linked to known cases and they bring the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD since the outbreak to 479.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (53), Goulburn (1), Eurobodalla (1), Yass Valley (5) and Bega Valley (1).

There are two people in hospital with the virus.
