Two new COVID-19 cases in Queanbeyan Palerang

The Queanbeyan Palerang LGA has recorded two new COVID-19 infections, with the cases located in Bywong and Greenleigh.

The cases are yet to be linked and remain under investigation.

They are the only new case reported in the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) today, 4 December.

This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 596 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan Palerang (12), Snowy Monaro (17), and Eurobodalla (2).

There is currently one person in hospital with the virus.
