Two new COVID-19 cases in Queanbeyan, one in Batemans Bay

The Southern NSW Local Health district has recorded four new COVID-19 cases to 8pm last night with two in Queanbeyan, one in Batemans Bay and one in Yass.

The two in the Queanbeyan-Palerang district are both in Karabar and are close contacts of an existing case.

The Batemans Bay case is linked to a previous case in the area.

There are no venues of concern relating to the cases in Karabar or Batemans Bay as of yet.

The case in Yass was announced yesterday as the region was forced into a two week lockdown. The source of the case in Yass is still under investigation.

There were several venues of concern announced in Yass and Goulburn yesterday.
