Two new COVID-19 cases in Karabar

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded three new COVID-19 cases overnight, with two in Karabar.

The two cases in Karabar are both linked to known cases and are the only new infections in the Queanbeyan-Palerang region.

The remaining case is in Mogendoura in the Eurobadalla LGA and is linked to a known case.

This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 491 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (60), Goulburn (1), Eurobodalla (2), Yass Valley (5) and Bega Valley (5).

There remains two people in hospital with the virus.
