Tender Loving Cuisine (TLC) is celebrating 25 years of delivering delicious and nutritious meals to people all across Australia. They are here to provide you with some TLC during these uncertain times, continuing to bring healthy meals with that homemade taste direct to your door.
The company’s founder and CEO, Jack Barker, said TLC began operations in 1995 at Royal Northshore Hospital in Sydney, and has been a “godsend” for their many customers ever since.
TLC makes it possible for clients to select their own meals for delivery, as well as maintaining agreements with charities and other providers.
“TLC commenced operations to provide quality home-delivered meals to discharged patients and this special service has since extended throughout all of the Eastern States,” he said.
“TLC has agreements with most charities and Home Care Providers to supply their premium range of delivered meals to those clients on care packages where food is needed.”
He said that as the COVID-19 crisis continues, TLC’s meals have been a lifeline for customers who are vulnerable and self-isolating.
“As a registered NDIS Provider, TLC is now able to also support hundreds of disabled clients who need proper nutrition to improve their quality of living.”
Mr Barker said the company’s 25th birthday celebrations have been marked by former NSW Liberal Party leader, Kerry Chikarovski, accepting an invitation to join the TLC board.
“Being a staunch supporter for the status of women and for our ageing and disability sectors during her career in politics, it was an opportunity that Kerry felt would enable her to positively impact on the good health of seniors receiving healthy and nutritious meals while remaining living in their own home,” he said.
Mr Barker also encouraged existing registered home care or NDIS providers to contact TLC to establish agreements for their clients.
