Canberra tennis star Nick Kyrgios has shown his support for those affected by the bushfires by pledging $200 per ace that he hits across all the events he plays this summer.

Brumbies, Raiders temporarily relocate

The Brumbies have made the decision to temporarily relocate their training base to Newcastle after the University of Canberra announced the immediate and indefinite closure of their indoor and outdoor training facilities on campus due to hazardous air quality being experienced on site and in the Canberra region.

The Canberra Raiders have also made the decision to relocate their NRL squad for 10 days starting today, Thursday 9 January, to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

The club decided to move training to ensure the health and safety of the playing group as they prepare for the 2020 season.

Super W returns

The third season of Super W Rugby Union will return on Friday 14 February. Brumbies Women will play Rugby WA Women on Saturday 15 February 4.35pm at GIO Stadium, Canberra, playing before the Brumbies versus Highlanders game. The top three teams will advance to the finals, with a two versus three play-off to determine who advances to the final against the top-placed team at the end of the home-and-away season.
