Canberra Royals Rugby Union Club have joined forces with the Royals Volleyball Club in a new sporting partnership.

Royals Volleyball Club is the new club in town, and has been built on the values of Community, Respect and Enjoyment.

These values sit alongside Royals Rugby who pride themselves on being one of Canberra’s oldest and most successful clubs with over 70 years of experience.

Royals Volleyball Club has found welcoming support from the community gaining sponsorship with CBC Metal Fabrication, along with Lawrance & Co. and The Meating Room.

Through sponsorship and fundraising, Royals Volleyball Club endeavour to be the most affordable volleyball club in the ACT.

They pride themselves on being the kind of sporting community that a well-established club like Royals Rugby are proud to be involved with.

The Royals partnership came through despite a difficult year with lock downs and social distancing.

Canberra Royals Rugby won the Men’s First Grade Premiership and Women’s Premiership, but the success didn’t end there.

Royals Volleyball Club came through to win gold medals in both the Junior Women’s and Reserve Women’s Volleyball ACT competition as well as finishing with a silver in the Premier Men’s league and Women’s Recreational, and bronze in the Reserve Men’s competition.
