Queanbeyan records 11 new COVID-19 cases, 7 in Goulburn

The Southern NSW Local Health District has recorded 27 new COVID-19 cases overnight, with 11 of those in the Queanbeyan region.

Of the 11 cases in Queanbeyan-Palerang, seven have been linked to known cases with the remaining four under investigation.

Goulburn has recorded another seven new infections with just three linked to known cases.

There are eight new cases in the Snowy Monaro region with seven linked.

The Eurobodalla region has recorded one new case and it has been linked.

The 27 new infections brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 223 since the start of the outbreak.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have active cases are Queanbeyan-Palerang (75), Goulburn (51), Eurobodalla (33), Yass (13) and the Snowy Monaro region (15).

There are currently eight people in hospital with the virus.
