Update: Missing teen Amara Hynes found safe and well

UPDATE: FOUND. Great news Canberra, Amara has been located safe and well.

ACT Policing is renewing calls to locate missing 14-year-old girl Amara Hynes.

Amara has not been seen or heard from since 5pm Saturday, 8 August 2020, at Jerrabomberra, NSW. It is believed she has since travelled into the ACT.

Police would like to reassure Amara that she is not in any trouble.

She is described as being of small build, Caucasian in appearance, approximately 165cm (5’5”) in height, with long, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. Amara was wearing a grey hooded jumper, light blue jeans with torn knees and black Nike TN shoes.

Police are seeking to locate Amara as there are concerns for her safety and seek the public’s assistance in locating her. 

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police in locating Amara is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444. Please quote reference number 6593050.
