Police looking for witnesses after Easter Monday collision in Russell

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage relating to a two vehicle collision that occurred in Russell early on Easter Monday morning.  

Between 2.00am and about 2.40am last Monday 18 April, a grey Toyota Hilux utility was traveling south bound on Parkes Way, Russell when it collided with a light pole and an unoccupied stationary vehicle.  

The driver and passenger fled the scene before police arrived. Information received by police indicate a woman (approximately 5’4” (163cm) tall, with long brunette hair) may have been driving the Hilux. 

Police are seeking witnesses who saw the collision, anyone who saw the Hilux prior to the collision or anyone who may have related dash-cam footage.
