One dead, three injured in disturbance in Page

One person is dead and three are in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a disturbance in Page yesterday.

About 9am yesterday (Saturday 20 February 2021) ACT Policing were called to a disturbance on Braine Street in Page.

On arrival, police spoke with a man who had significant injuries. 

Police then identified another man who rushed towards them and was subsequently tasered.

A short time later, another injured person and a deceased person were located.

Three people, including the man arrested by police, were treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

A crime scene was established, and police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

There are no further people believed to be involved.

Police want to reassure the public that there are no going public safety concerns in relation to this incident.
