Set in beautifully maintained gardens, the various waterways at Norwood Park are popular with families.

Norwood Park is Canberra’s oldest and most experienced crematorium, surrounded by lush gardens that offer a peaceful resting place for those who have left us, and tranquility to all visitors.

For over 50 years, Norwood Park has provided Canberrans a place of beauty and solace to honour the lives of loved ones, with thoughtfully arranged memorials and ceremonies, and serene landscaped grounds.

Over the past 12-15 years, Norwood Park has undertaken an amazing transformation, with a vastly improved Chapel precinct now able to seat almost 300 guests.

The great development that has taken place in the picturesque bush setting – with many new Memorial Garden areas – gives families much more choice when selecting an area to place their loved ones.

Possum Corner is just one area which has been transformed into a very private setting, incorporating the Teddy Bear Garden, so families are able to select an area within the precinct to inter their loved ones.

Mr Beer says many families visit the park on weekends to celebrate birthday parties and remember their loved ones, taking advantage of the many table and chair settings.
