Light rail service changes for maintenance work

Maintenance works along sections of the light rail track have commenced, with changes to services to affect travellers from Sunday 26 January to Thursday 30 January.

Night works are expected to start from Sunday 26 January 8pm, with works continuing into the evening and early morning, through to Friday 30 January 6am.

Transport Canberra bus services will replace evening light rail services between Dickson and Gungahlin during this period, operating to the 15 minute light rail frequency. Travellers will not be required to tap on and off for these services.

Light rail services will operate as per normal at the start of each day, from 6am, with buses to replace services in both directions from Dickson interchange to Gungahlin Place from 8pm each evening. Passengers should use bus stops located near each light rail stop on Northbourne Avenue and Flemington Road.

The main works on the light rail track will take place at two locations on Flemington Road, near Exhibition Park in Mitchell and between Manning Clark Crescent and Kate Crace Street in Gungahlin.
