Kayaker dies on Murrumbidgee River at Point Hut

ACT Policing will prepare a report for the coroner regarding the death of a man who was kayaking on the Murrumbidgee River at Point Hut yesterday afternoon, Sunday 9 August.

About 2pm yesterday, the man, one of a group of kayakers, became stuck under a bridge in his kayak.

The man was located about 6.20pm unresponsive in the water, and confirmed as deceased.
