Francis Bevan has put together his weekly horoscopes June 11-17. This week’s celebrity birthday is Peter Dinklage.
11 June 1969
Peter is going to feel the urge to travel within his own country or overseas and the need to move freely and explore. He should take the time to do so as there will be mind-broadening experiences. New faces and new horizons will enable him to assess himself in a new light. The year ahead will be a very active one socially and career wise and he will find himself being the centre of attention. His success is going from strength to strength.
ARIES 21 Mar – 20 Apr
June is going to be a very emotional month and sometimes, life requires patience. And often, our greatest breakthroughs come when we wait, pause and reflect. June is not a time to force yourself to power through your days. It’s a time of going inward and appreciating quieter moments.
TAURUS 21 Apr – 21 May
Values can change when Venus is retrograde, as can relationships, you suddenly discover things about your loved ones that you never realised before and your creative processes also become stuck. Venus turns direct on 25 June, helping you to move forward with newfound understandings of yourself and others.
GEMINI 22 May – 21 June
With six planets in retrograde this month, June is a time of personal transformation, re-evaluation and rejuvenation. They say change starts from within, and that holds strong right now. Venus’s retrograde period began on 13 May in the sign of Gemini, signalling a time to review your needs and desires.
CANCER 22 June – 22 July
This month is a time to work out what makes you happy and to explore the inner work you feel called to do to bring your best self forward in service of something greater. A health concern for an older man or father figure will need to be addressed.
LEO 23 July – 23 Aug
Mercury opposite Pluto creates a battle ofideas, either within your own mind or between competitors. This is a good time for research, investigate and to uncover secrets. An intense build- up of mental energy require an outlet and this can turn into fierce debates and arguments.
VIRGO 24 Aug – 23 Sept
Relationships that have been on rocky ground are going to be put under a great deal of strain. To have some harmony in relationships at an intimate level, you need to gain self-awareness of how you communicate and come across to others. Fortunately, you’re smart enough to realise this.
LIBRA 24 Sept – 23 Oct
This month’s transit of Mercury opposite Pluto favours propaganda, conspiracy theories, manipulation, deceit and possibly even intimidation. The truth may be hidden by secrecy and illusion. It is reasonable not to take anything at face value and to investigate both sides of any issue or argument.
SCORPIO 24 Oct – 22 Nov
You have a powerful ability to improve your communication style to improve close relationships. Be wary of being talked into things under pressure. Those who allow ego to control them may result in temporary gains and an inflated sense of superiority, but in the long run, such tactics will backfire.
SAGITTARIUS 23 Nov – 21 Dec
Aspects of your loved ones that you haven’t seen before suddenly come to light and, if not dealt with positively, then separations or break-ups are likely. If something is telling you that things can no longer be as they were, let it go as best you can.
CAPRICORN 22 Dec – 20 Jan
This month, the stars encourage you to take that time to figure out what you want. Continue to unwind out of your old habits. Continue to let go of the things and people that won’t get you any closer to where you really want to be.
AQUARIUS 21 Jan – 19 Feb
What will you learn today from the person you will be tomorrow? What would like to say to your younger self right now, Aquarius? You’re reaching a turning point and are starting to appreciate the person you have grown into, as well as the ways you are still evolving.
PISCES 20 Feb – 20 Mar
Don’t avoid tending to the shakier areas of your life any longer. The good news is that the planets are trying to help you get these details in order so that your path can become clearer. The bad news is that you might need to muster some motivation.
