In the first major red carpet event for the year, celebrities donned their finest for the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards on 5 January. Here’s our round-up of some of our favourite dresses (and non-dresses) from the event.
Glenn Close: The A-list veteran was the epitome of Hollywood glamour, in a navy velvet gown from Armani Privé. 
Mother-daughter duo Lisa Bonet and Zoë Kravitz looked effortlessly chic, as always. Bonet opted for an embroidered, boho-style gown from Fendi, while Kravitz oozed elegance in a polka-dot gown from Saint Laurent. Booksmart and Unbelievable star Kaitlyn Dever looked radiant as she arrived in a floral gown by Valentino. 
Amy Poehler: The comedian and actress made a change to her usual red carpet look, donning a belted, glittering gown from Sergio Hudson. Zoey Deutch stunned in Fendi, the actress donning bright yellow jumpsuit matched with silver and blue jewels. 
Jodie Comer: The Killing Eve star brought the colour, in an emerald green Mary Katrantzou dress, paired with a yellow feather clutch and pink shoes. 
Phoebe Waller-Bridge: The Fleabag writer and star took to the red carpet in a suit from Ralph & Russo. 
Lucy Boynton looked almost futuristic as she stepped out in an all-silver ensemble from Louis Vuitton, with a beauty look to match. Saoirse Ronan: The actress kept it simple with a metallic dress from Celine, minimal jewellery and a stunning natural beauty look.
