Four new COVID-19 cases in Queanbeyan, one in Yass

The Southern NSW Local Health District has recorded five new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night with four in Queanbeyan.

Of the four cases in the Queanbeyan-Palerang region, two are in Queanbeyan, one is in Googong and one is in Crestwood. The case in Crestwood is linked to a known case while the others are under investigation.

Yass Valley recorded one new coronavirus case which is under investigation.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (42), Goulburn (1), Eurobodalla (1), Yass Valley (2) and Bega Valley (1).

There are two people in hospital with the virus.
