Cocaine, cash and firearms seized in Ngunnawal

Cocaine, cash and firearms have been seized by members of ACT Policing’s Taskforce Nemesis in an early morning search of a Ngunnawal residence yesterday, Thursday 19 November.

Police entered the home at about 5.30am where they seized more than 300 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash, as well as two firearms and ammunition.

Investigations are continuing and police expect charges to be laid once forensic analysis is complete.

Detective Acting Inspector Mark Steel said the search warrant was another good result for Taskforce Nemesis.

“Taskforce Nemesis continues to apply pressure to those who are involved in organised crime, including outlaw motor cycle gangs,” Detective Acting Inspector Steel said.

ACT Policing urges anyone who may have information relating to criminal activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
