Canberra drive-in gets spooky for Halloween

Halloween will make an appearance at the drive-in, with a line-up of horror movies scheduled from 27 October until 1 November at Mov’in Car.

The drive-in style cinema will show horror classics like Scream and The Exorcist but have thrown in Hocus Pocus for those who only like a moderate scare.

Guests are invited to wear their most terrifying get up, upload a picture of themselves on Instagram and use the hashtag #movincar.

The best picture of each night will be gifted two additional tickets for a following session, along with two pizzas from the onsite catering and two local Capital Brewing Co. brews.

The Mov’in Car drive-in cinema made its Canberra debut during July, returning on 24 September with sessions expected to run until mid-December.

Currently, movies are confirmed until 1 November with more sessions to come.

Held in the Questacon car park, tickets start from $49.90 per car with a licensed bar and food vendor on site delivering to your window.

Those who dare are invited to try the limited El Diablo pizza, coined by organisers as Canberra’s deadliest chilli pizza.

Those who can eat until the very last slice will be rewarded with an Evil Eye Red IPA by Capital Brewing Co.

Gates open from 6:30pm, with movies starting at 8pm. The full ‘Horror Week’ schedule is as follows:
