20-year-old Eliza Scanlen was a vision in white at the premiere of Greta Gerwig’s adaption of Little Women, in which she stars alongside Hollywood heavyweights including Emma Watson, Meryl Streep and Laura Dern. She embraced the 2019 trends of statement sleeves and structured tailoring. 
25-year-old Dacre Montgomery shot to fame portraying Billy on the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. He donned a silk shirt, white tailored pants and suede shoes on the red carpet for the premiere of Stranger Things season three in June, pulling off the look like only he can. 
No one wears red like Nicole Kidman, and she proved that at this year’s Golden Globes in January, donning a burgundy, full-length sequin dress and accessorising with a spherical handbag and black bow in her hair. 
In a departure from her usual red carpet style, Australia’s screen queen Margot Robbie donned a sequinned dress with statement tulle shoulders and hem from her go-to Chanel, for the EE British Academy Film Awards in February. 
It’s not an Aussie list without a Hemsworth! Chris Hemsworth gave us a master class in ‘smart casual’ men’s dressing when he was spotted out and about in New York City in June in a patterned suit and plain white tee.
