ACT records 898 COVID cases

The ACT has recorded 898 new COVID cases in the latest update.

Of the new infections, 460 are from PCR tests and 438 from RATs.

There are currently 39 people in hospital with the virus, four are in intensive care with none requiring ventilation.

The ACT has now recorded 67,243 total COVID cases since the start of the pandemic and 38 virus-related deaths.

There are now 6,014 active cases in Canberra.

COVID-19 vaccination numbers

  • Aged 5-11 (1 dose): 79.7 per cent
  • Aged 5-11 (2 doses): 33.6 per cent
  • Aged 5+ (2 doses): 96.2 per cent
  • Aged 16+ (3 doses): 71.7 per cent
