322 new COVID cases in Southern NSW, 63 in Queanbeyan

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded 322 COVID cases with 74 of those in Queanbeyan.

It is slightly less than yesterday’s 345 COVID cases in Southern NSW.

The number of people in hospital with the virus has doubled to four, while 61 people are under active care, down from 86 yesterday.

There are now 1,719 active COVID cases in the SNSWLHD with the total number of infections up to 2,460 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The Queanbeyan Palerang LGA recorded 74 new COVID-19 cases.

Bega Valley LGA has 89 new infections.

Goulburn Mulwaree LGA recorded 84 new cases.

Snowy Monaro LGA has 31 new COVID infections.

Yass Valley LGA reported 23 COVID-19 cases.

Eurobodalla LGA has 24 new cases.

Upper Lachlan reported 8 new cases.

The news comes as NSW recorded 34,994 total COVID-19 cases along with six virus-related deaths.
